Nechci vyvolavat zadny flame a netouzim ani po prispevcich jestli je prestavba zbytecna nebo ne...Jen bych chtel touto cestou pozadat, pokud by nekdo narazil na nejake zajimave info ohledne stavby VET ci VE-T, at to sem napise nebo idealne pretlumoci...ja a anglina si rozumime jen trochu a technicky clanky muzu prekladat blbe....dekuju

i don't access to pics but i can prolly get some if needed. everything is on the car now. the body is a black b13 with stillen front bumper cover, black b14 wheels with great tread falken 512's in front and some low tread ones in back. also has 2 gauge pillar with sport comp oil pressure gauge, and silver series boost guage, new speakers all the way around, wallbro 255fuel pump, and no a/c.

the b14's with the falkens will be for sale soon.
i also have a good tranny still.

Ktera varianta se vam zda lepsi...pouzit SR16VE s vnitrnostma 20DET nebo pouzit jako zaklad SR20VE a pouzit pisty+ojnice a kliku z DET?

sice můj příspěvek bude přesně to co nechceš slyšel, ale PROČ to celý? :-) ty peníze se daj utratit daleko smysluplněji

Od swapu vetsiho motoru sem po jizde na okruhu upustil..nedovedu si predstavit jeste vetsi vahu na predku nez ted se SR20DET

en setup co je tam vypsanej je pro SR20VE-T......o DET se tam zminuji jen pro porovnani a sice s vykonem 400-420 pri 20PSI

400-420 ps pri 1,3 je zcela realnych....ale ne na seriovem motoru...i kdyz tady asi spousta lidi bude tvrdit ze to serie vydrzi...

What does Neo VVL stand for?
Nissan Ecology Orientated Variable Valve Lift and Timing

The VE (Neo VVL) series of engines is Nissan's answer to Honda's VTEC. The two systems are nearly identical. They use the same concept of multiple cam lobes to provide a low rpm cam ideal for torque and a high rpm cam optimized for hp. The only difference in the Nissan system is that the intake and exhaust cams are triggered indepedently for a flatter, more consistent power band. You can read more about the VTEC system here.

How many different VE motors are there?
There are five (5) VE motors.

Where can I get headers and other JDM stuff for my new VE?
JDM Spec Performance Good site for aftermarket JDM.

What modifications can I perform to make my VE faster?
You can use the standard SR20DE exhaust such as Greddy, HKS, etc. and CAI (cold air induction) like the AEM, Hotshot or Place Racing. The SR20VE is a low port motor. You will need an intake for a low port (94) B13, or any B14 SR20 car. The B15 SR20 intake does not have both intake hoses the earlier and VE motors do.

A standard DE header will choke the VE as there is about 1/8"-1/4" overlap on the exhaust ports on the VE. Hotshot is currently developing a VE specific header to resolve this issue. Fujitsubo and Impul in Japan also make headers specifically for the VE.

Other options include installing SR16VE cams in the SR20VE for a guesstimated increase of 18 crank HP. If you are an SR16VE owner you can install a 2001 Nissan SE 4 counterweight crank with new rods and pistons to increase displacement to 2.0L. Specifics on the rods and pistons are currently being tested and we will provide more information as it is available.


What kind of 1/4 mile time can I expect with an SR20VE?
Average 1/4 mile times for a full interior SR20VE powered SE-R are 13.8 - 14.2.

Jeste bych chtel pozadat Idaha nebo nekoho kdo dovazi dily z JPN jestli by neslo zjistit informace o tesnenich pod hlavu VE motoru...na www sem nasel prispevek ze SR20VE ma stejne tesneni jako DE..resp ze pasuje..tim padem i cela hlava.

abys mel spravny egt musis vymenit vstryky, regulator, cerpadlo, ECU...

...seriova turbina 1,3 nikdy neda...cili menit i turbo...

a to jses tam za kilo s prehledem...

...a o spojce, vyfuku, IC a dalsich vecech kolem ani nemluvim...

...cili to uz je neco jinyho nez seriovej motor... :wink:

...ale je mozny ze amici maji nakej spesl know how... :roll:

myslel jsem samozrejmne seriovej spodek, co pises, tomu amici rikaj 'bolt on' ;-)
